Aaron Bethlenfalvy: GT/Dyno Kustom Kruiser Koncepts, With His Commentary. "Here are my initial concept renderings of the infamous Dyno Kustom Kruisers. You'll notice that the 'Deuce', 'Moto Glide', 'Ultra Glide' and 'Mooneyes' bikes were made as literal translations of my initial concepts. I designed these bikes before the Schwinn/GT merger. My idea was to overtake Schwinn as the cruiser kings by offering a line of cruisers that would have wide demographic appeal, a modern nostalgic feel, and be slick as shit! It worked. Dyno saw 300% growth in the first year and continued to grow every year following. The only problem is that GT merged with Schwinn. The new President was a Schwinn guy. He made us take our foot off the accelerator because he wanted Schwinn to remain in control of the cruiser business. |
