I have to say that this site is one of the coolest on the net. It is very inspiring that such a site exists for people like us that just can not ride a store bought bike even if we wanted to. I keep checking back here to see "what will they think of next." Keep up the good work, and keep these beautiful bikes coming...
I am submitting for the gallery some pics of my chopper "Shades" The frame was done by none other than Paul of choppercabras. The frame was then sand blasted and powder coated "Black Chrome" The forks are Phat Cycles with the second crown removed and first crown raised for extension. The wheels were made for mountain bikes, they are aluminum and also have disc brakes. This brake set up gave me much problems and is not 100% yet, a little more tweaking and it will be. The rest of the parts are either from mountain or BMX.
This thing may not look very comfortable, but it is surprisingly very. Even on long rides, I never have a problem.. Except I cant go very far without someone stopping me with questions, compliments or pictures. Needless to say I have a blast everytime I take this thing for a cruise. It without a doubt one of the funnest bikes I've ever been on. Thanks, Leo |
