I put a 8 foot fork on the chrome square one and it was no different in riding then the 6 foot but way cooler . In fact it was more fun . A guy really needs to offset the fork to the front axle as much as possible to get control of the steering problem you get the farther out you go with the fork & rake . Trust me . You will not be disappointed if you try it . It took me 2 months to figure it out at any length . Happy Building . Happy Riding . I AM . Thanks to Bikerod & Kustom for the wonderful web site on which we can show our abominations [oh sorry]   " OUR GREAT WORK " !!!!
Parry A. Faye: Choppers
Hello Bicycle Chopper Heroes . My name is Parry A Faye . I live in Calgary Alberta .I got started in building choppers from my brother , he's making his out of old bike frames I just took it a bit farther . I have only built 10 choppers so far but I have 2 more on the go . The best one I like to ride is NOS that's the one with the chrome tank on it  . It supplies the truck air horn to about 108 db give or take a few db with air [ who cares its loud .] I try to use as much recycled tubing as possible . For example all of the bikes use table legs chrome or painted . Not to many bike parts are used any more, only the most obvious stuff .
I have a CNC laser cutter helping me out on a few things . Two things I found out in a hurry was I needed to use seamless tubing with 3-4 precision bearings in the steer tube because of the length & rake . One more seamless tube is neede for the one piece bike crank .
