This is the first chopped bike that I ever built. I used two BMX frames and a length of fence toprail. It was originally held together with threaded rod run through the frame at various points. I built the bike before I had a welder. My wife Abbie told me that the designs that I had drawn into a notebook would definitely work. It was the shove that I needed! I've only been doing this for about a year and I've only been welding for around six months. I've built six more bikes and a tadpole trike. This truly the most fun and rewarding hobby I've ever had! Thanks for the vote of confidence, Abbie!!  Mack
