Drew Triplett: Electric Chopper
Hi Jim and all,
I finally have this baby done! Only six years in the making? When I started this machine, I wouldn't have guessed at that time chopper bikes were going to take off as they did. It was originally created for an annual pub crawl where a group of us always created an original bike to show off; then the snow ball compounded.
.
I rode my chopper in that pub crawl in 1999 and a couple of others that followed; each year adding more and more handcrafted parts. I was getting my bachelors in fine arts at the time and I didn't have all the time in the world to play with it. So, I simply set small goals for myself as time went by.
