Mike Martinez: Schwinn Bobber
Please consider my bike for your gallery. Its an '80s Schwinn frame, raked about an inch out of the top tube. Handlebars are from an older mountain bike, with the center cut out, ends capped, and painted flat black for a z-bar style look. Front wheel is a 26inch chrome 10 speed wheel with a 26x1-3/8 whitewall, rear is a 24inch Murray Cruiser wheel with a 24x3 Electra Fatti-O whitewall.

The top of the seat tube was cut off so the seat would sit as low as possible. I had to get shorter cranks because the stock ones wouldn't rotate. The bike came down quite a bit from stock with the repop springer fork. You can tell the frame has been modified by looking at the top of the front tire. It sits higher than the bottom of the fork tube! I'm 5'10" tall, and the bike isn't too bad to ride for a quick trip around the neighborhood. The paint is red oxide primer, with a flat black chain guard and handlebars, and is finished. I was going for an old style bobber look with a little rat rod influence. Hope you like it!
